“We want to inspire students to think differently and push the boundaries of their own intellectual capabilities.” – Crystal Boudreaux, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Microbiology, Department of Biomedical Sciences
The WVSOM Foundation wants you to know about a unique opportunity to touch the future of health care today. Each year the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine inspires high school students during their FREE Just Say Know camp.
This fun and engaging one-week camp encourages students to pursue their interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) by introducing them to the many careers possible in the world of biomedicine.
Entertaining and challenging, the Just Say Know camp is an inclusive experience that welcomes all STEM students, introducing them to other students who share their interests, often sparking new friendships. Through games, hands-on experiments and engaging lectures, the camp’s fun and informative content sparks curiosity and empowers all students to ask questions and explore the concepts presented.
The Foundation is asking you to join us to make sure this camp continues to be FREE to all participants in 2021. Donations of any size now will help us make a tremendous impact for the promising young minds that may one day change lives through medical research, development or medical practices here in West Virginia, across the globe and in your community.
