MOSS (Marlene’s Out-of-State Scholarship) FUND

The MOSS (Marlene’s Out-of-State Scholarship) Fund awards scholarships to multiple1st year, out-of-state students who demonstrate financial need and are in the upper 75% of the class. Students must have chosen WVSOM because of the school’s commitment to outstanding family practice medicine. This endowed fund was established by Marlene Wager, D.O., who was a Professor of Family Medicine and Geriatrics at WVSOM for 15 years before retiring in 2007.
