The James R. Stookey, D.O. Manipulative Medicine Scholarship is given annually in memory of Dr. Stookey, who served WVSOM as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean from 1988 to 2002. This award is presented to a second-year student who must have a GPA of no less than 90 percent with a demonstrated proficiency in manual medicine and significant knowledge of anatomy.
