Samantha Ketchem Muncy Primary Care Scholarship

The Samantha Ketchem Muncy Primary Care Scholarship was created in honor of Samantha Ketchem Muncy,  Class of 2015, who lost her life in a tragic car accident while on rotations during her third year of studies at WVSOM.  The annual scholarship is awarded to a third-year student from Barbour, McDowell, Taylor, Preston or Harrison counties in West Virginia, who intends to remain in the state to practice medicine in a primary care specialty. The award is presented to a student who represents the character and qualities that Samantha embodied including compassion, a solid work ethic and dedication to community service.
